Submitted the experiment site to Unique Article Wizard for approval. So by tomorrow the site should be send to their networks of sites for backlinking. Checked on the earlier batch of sites that I did a test on Blog BluePrint. They were backlinked with BBP before sending to UAW for another round of backinking. Now I am on to the second phase of experimenting “Quality First”. The site which is at #25, do not have any other backlinks only BBP. She was given the last injection of BBP posts. Tomorrow, she will be send to UAW for  further backlinking. The first site that I used BLS had completed 50 posts. It took only 3 days. Each day they send out 20 posts. I made four sales from Amazon today. Commission should be around $4. All the items purchased, none of them was from any of niche that I owned. The second site that I made specially for Amazon affiliate, though indexed, but yet to be found anywhere in SERP. The first site that I put up solely for Amazon affiliate had been a rather good investment. I had covered my cost of domain, outsource fee for writing and hosting in less then a month. The experiment site that I sent BBP to moved from page three to now page two. I started sending BBP posts to it for about 5-6 days ago. I do intend to throw BBP posts for another 2 more days then after that send it to UAW. The sites for the experiment – “Quality First” are sticking on well. Pretty much the same. Haven’t seen any movement on the two sites that had been submitted to Unique Article Wizard for testing on yesterday. I was experimenting on whether ‘quality before quantity’ responds better then quantity before quality. Unlike the previous two sites ( see post here) they almost had a immediate movement once UAW send them out (on the first day). Let’s wait for another few days to see.

Realise that a few of my regular performing sites had MIA again. Rather frustrating, seeing them come and go. It had also impacted my AdSense income too. Since performance isn’t up to expectation, well, need to work harder then. Did quite a lot of backlinking activities today.

The site that broke through to page 1 is still there, but surprisingly she didn’t receive any clicks, so did  the BBP 1st experiment site. Let wait and see for another few more days. Read the rest of this entry »

Although had a rather disappointing day of AdSense and Amazon sales. Two of my sites which i started to experiment on UAW a couple days ago (see post here) are doing rather well. The site which had been stuck on the page 2 of Google for quite some time had finally broke through to the 1st page, No. 7! And the 1st experiment site for BBP jumped from 8th to 3rd ! While updating my sites with the new content, I came out with a genius idea. “Why not add Amazon links to the sites?” So I selected a few sites that the niche min threshold of making at least $2 per sales from Amazon. What I did was add a main niche Amazon banner on my side column (only if when there is a appropriate size)and a sentence linking to the Amazon page at the bottom of the article. Did 5 more Unique Article Wizard submissions today. Inclusive the 1st experiment site for BBP. Notice quite a few of my sites are responding well to UAW, they are moving ahead from page 2 to page 1 of the SEPR. Most of them are sitting at 9/10 of page 1.

I also submitted a rather competitive niche to UAW. This site is one of my first batch of Micro Niche Sites. She have about 70 backlinks and nearly a year old. I did a few of Daniel Tan’s PR submissions and about 50 Angela’s package – which caused it to gone missing from Google page 5 for 2 months and come back at pg 2. Read the rest of this entry »

Determine to live a balance life as much as possible, I had decide to keep my work to the minimum during Sundays. So for future Sundays, I will not be updating my blog.

For the last few days I had been constantly adding contents, updating the WP Theme, looking at how they had ranked and so on. I believe the main issue for not generating the kind of income is mainly due to most of my sites are not in the top 3 position. Those who are constantly bringing in money day by day are those in the top 3 or top 5 at least. So instead of adding more site, I will be concentrating backlinking them. Almost 50% of the sites had been added some additional content. Having five writers to assist me, they can average chain up about 20 articles a day. Glad to find among them a rather professional and good writer. The other 2 newer ones aren’t that good, late in submitting their work and do have mistakes in their work.

The two experiment sites form BBP is still on the first page. While the 1st site is hovering around rank #8 & #9, the 2nd site had moved up to #4 from #6. The third site had not been listed yet. The recent site I put Read the rest of this entry »

Spend quite some time updating the sites with new content. Also took the opportunity to change them to a newer theme that I had created using Artisteer.

Put up a new site to use Amazon to monetise. Created a different WP theme of this Amazon purpose site. The principle of identifying the niche is the same as what I had done with the other AdSense site. This is a 4 words domain.  I am expecting it takes longer to index and rank because of the 4 words domain. Read the rest of this entry »

Though my AdSense wasn’t doing too well today, despite the impression and CTR are healthy, the CPC just wasn’t high enough. But receive a rather nice surprise from Amazon today. Got 11 purchases today alone! One more to go before my commission level is increase to 6%.

So where are these purchases from? Honestly, I don’t know for sure. I still find Amazon report a bit confusing. Now looks like something I have to pay more attention to in future, A possible income source. Read the rest of this entry »

Received the first batch articles for the additional keywords, starting to add new pages to those sites that I had decided to keep. After taking away 20 sites, it doesn’t seems to have any effect on my income. Should had done that long ago. While checking on my Adsense income, realise some sites that had been pretty quite are started producing. These are sites I had submitted to Unique Article Wizard recently. Had been chaining up key words for additional pages like mad yesterday. Do manage to find nearly 200 keywords to write on. Both my writers had been bombard with articles orders and they are already up till their neck. Manage to get two more writers and is still talking to another 2 more. Ha ha  now I can set up my own copy writing service, anyone keen to have their article written?

Finally, Big G had caught up with me. But I am really gratefully they send an email to inform me the ad serving has been disabled on one of my site, instead of terminating my account. This is something that I have been expecting. No one to blame but myself for dragging my feet to take the appropriate actions.

Most of my sites are of 1 page content. I had been adding contents to only those had shown potential and those not performing, I kind of left it where they are and forgot about them. Huge mistake. The site Big G disabled was set up in Jan. Till date, it only make less then $5 bucks for me and now it had potentially affected my plan. Read the rest of this entry »

Guess what? The highest producing site today is the 1st experiment site that I used for Blog Blueprint! Decent CTR and CPC. So the strategy of working on higher CPC seems to pay off at the moment.

Got another 2 orders on my experiment Amazon site which help me to make $3. Putting up another one for further testing tomorrow. Did some keywords research today. The current version of Micro Niche Finder seems to be rather buggy, slow and had 2 -3 error messages during my 2 hours search. Read the rest of this entry »

Interesting result I got from one of my site. It got a PR 2! I didn’t do anything much promoting and the site is rather new – nearly a month old. Beside the usual bookmarking, I threw in some 5-10 posts from Blog BluePrint – that’s all. I guess must be the links from Blog BluePrint. This is a rather competitive niche. Make a change to my daily work routine. In the past what I did was waking before 8am, send my younger daughter to school. Buy breakfast back home and spend an hour reading forums and blogs, a bit research as well as checking my AdSense sales. After that, lunch with my daughter and send her to school. Back home is around 1 pm. Fire up my laptop, first thing was to set up a new site. If I am not distracted, I could set up it up fully in 22 mins, but usually got distracted and usually took 1 hour to complete. Read the rest of this entry »
