Day 61 – Summary Of May Sales and Plans For June

Time passes really in a blink of an eye. Before you know it, it’s a new month again. Last month I did a forecast of $700 gross sales for the month of May. Today I had make $11.26. For this month I did $600.63 for Ad$en$e and $98.80 for Amazon. Total Gross sales are $699.43. … $0.57 shy from $700!

My strategy for May was to stop pumping out sites, instead get as many site ranks in the top 3 as possible. Apparently most of the sites didn’t manage achieved it… yet. I had underestimated the duration need for sites to get a decent rank. One of the main reasons could be due to the backlinking methods had yet to take effect. During the 3rd week, I started doing profile links. All sites involved went missing from SERP. Luckily I didn’t applied on my top producing sites. Many of my top producing sites registered increase in ad impression and overall increase in sales. Couple of then is still dancing. While the top 15 sites and below sites are still dancing all over the place.

After a couple month of testing different backlinking programs, I found that both BBP and BLS are rather effective tools. As for UAW, I didn’t really think it’s necessary and could help me much. So I suspended the subscription for this month and use the fund to test out article marketing backlinking ability. I had also invested into edu links and profile links. I had heard many good feedbacks on profile links, but hesitated after my first try with my earlier site that cause her to went missing for months. But she came back stronger though.

I would not try it again if not for getting a VA to assist me. I don’t really enjoy doing all these mundane task. With the VA around, I had planned a more systematic and comprehensive backlinking plan for my sites. They are basically involves in almost all means of backlinks, therefore give Big G a more creditable and favourable impression.

With the execution of the Systemic Backlink Approach, I believe in due time the sites will rise in their SERP and stabilised more. The first batch starting a week plus ago and I do hope that by this or next week they can re-appear in SERP again.

I had also tried flipping my parenting site but didn’t mange to sell her off. I had decided to keep her for a while and try to push her to page one before letting her go. Since she is more then a year old, I plan to throw a couple of thousands links by using Jeremy Kelsall service to test out whether does a year plus site still dance after adding profile links.

So as for the plan for June, I will resume in making new sites. Aiming at 20 new sites for month of June. As for backlink method, I will stick to my Systemic Backlink Approach. I think I should be able to achieve an overall sale of $800 for this month.

Month of May $669.43

Month of April $559.24

Month of March $479.52

Month of Feb $304.17

Month of Jan $290.53

So what about you? How did you do for May?

  • Great job! May for me showed an increase across 4 out of 7 of the monetization platforms I use to make money online, however, I didn’t build as many websites as I originally planned to, so this month I’m hiring a part-time in-house assistant to help me get back on the ball!

  • Wow I am so impressed at your progress! Just wondering if you had continually been building lots of new sites this month to contribute to the increases?

Actually no, I guess is because I work on the sites by creating backlinks etc. But I believe this month could be make more if not because of the profile links and the adsense setting experiment I was conducting. I didn’t set up any sites for May, but I intend to build another 20 more site this month because my VA had been taking care of the backlinking for me. That’s the power of leverage.
